Nonprofit marketing
that funds
the mission.

Up Digital is a nonprofit marketing agency. We manage Google Ad Grants, the $10,000 a month in free Google search ads most nonprofits leave unclaimed, and pair it with paid campaigns, social media, and AI visibility, so your mission gets found by donors, volunteers, and the people you serve.

01 · Who It Is For

Who hires a nonprofit
marketing agency?

Executive directors and development teams who need donor growth without adding headcount: foundations with research to fund, community nonprofits that must fill programs, and organizations sitting on an unused Google Ad Grant. The grant alone is worth $120,000 a year in search visibility. Most nonprofits claim a fraction of it, or lose it to compliance mistakes. We fix both.

What does nonprofit marketing actually include?

Six services built around how nonprofits actually grow: free search reach from the grant, paid campaigns for the moments that matter, content that turns impact into donations, and reporting your board can read.

Google Ad Grants Management

The full grant lifecycle: eligibility check, Google for Nonprofits enrollment, account build, and the compliance work that keeps the grant active, including click-through rate, keyword quality, and conversion tracking rules.

  • Eligibility and application
  • Account structure and campaigns
  • Compliance monitoring

Paid Search & Social Ads

The grant has limits: caps and restrictions mean high-value donor terms often need paid campaigns beside it. We run Google and Meta ads for donor acquisition, giving days, galas, and remarketing.

  • Donor acquisition campaigns
  • Giving day and event pushes
  • Remarketing to past supporters

Social Media & Content

Impact, told weekly: beneficiary stories, research explainers, and behind-the-scenes content that gives donors a reason to stay close between asks. Strategy, production, and community management included.

  • Mission storytelling system
  • Impact report content
  • Executive director visibility

AI Visibility & SEO

Donors now ask ChatGPT which charities to support. We structure your site, profiles, and content so AI assistants can find, understand, and cite your mission, and so local searches find your programs.

  • AI citation readiness
  • Program and location pages
  • Review and profile system

Email & Donor Journeys

Welcome series for new donors, impact updates that are not asks, lapsed donor reactivation, and event invitations, written and sent on a calendar your small team can sustain.

  • New donor welcome series
  • Impact update cadence
  • Lapsed donor reactivation

Websites & Donation Pages

Donation pages that convert on mobile, campaign landing pages for every push, and accessibility standards public funders expect. Built fast, measured against completed donations, not pageviews.

  • Donation page optimization
  • Campaign landing pages
  • Analytics and donation tracking

What results back
this team up?

Straight answer: nonprofit marketing is a focused practice inside Up Digital, and we will not invent nonprofit case studies we do not have. What we bring is a published Ad Grants playbook and a paid media team with verified results in other sectors. Here is both, labeled as what it is.

Playbook · Google Ad Grants

The Ad Grants System

Our published guide walks the whole program: eligibility, the 5-step setup, the compliance rules that suspend accounts, and how to pair the grant with paid campaigns. It is the exact system we implement for clients, free to read before we ever talk.

Dental America

The paid media discipline behind our nonprofit work: a local services program where every dollar was tracked to a booked appointment. Donor campaigns get the same treatment: tracked to completed donations.

Read the playbook first

Our Google Ad Grants guide covers eligibility, setup, compliance, and the paid pairing strategy in full, with an FAQ your board can read. If the grant is new to your organization, start there. If your account was suspended, the guide explains the usual reasons and fixes.

05 · FAQ

Questions nonprofit
leaders
ask us first.

Ad Grants gives eligible nonprofits $10,000 a month in free Google search ads. Most 501(c)(3) organizations enrolled in Google for Nonprofits qualify; some categories, like hospitals and government entities, follow different paths. We check your eligibility and handle the application as the first step of any engagement.

Usually compliance, not malice: the program requires a minimum 5% click-through rate, valid conversion tracking, and keyword quality standards, and accounts that drift get paused. We monitor these rules continuously, which is most of what grant management actually is.

Not fully. The grant is powerful for awareness, research, and program searches, but it carries bid and competition limits, so high-value donor terms often need a paid account beside it. Our standard setup runs both: the grant for breadth, paid for the searches that raise money.

Monthly services start at $1,800/month for social direction or for local SEO and AI visibility. Social with UGC production starts at $3,300/month, paid ads management starts at $3,000/month with spend billed separately, and bundles run $3,600 to $9,900/month. Ad Grants setup and management is scoped per project after an eligibility check.

Yes. Giving days, galas, and year-end campaigns are planned bursts inside the ongoing program: landing pages, email sequences, social content, and paid pushes timed to the date, then a report your board can use.

That is the goal of our AI visibility work. Donors increasingly ask ChatGPT and similar tools which organizations to support in a cause area. Clear mission pages, structured data, credible mentions, and review profiles are what those systems cite, and we build all of it.

Your organization, always. The Google for Nonprofits account, ad accounts, website, and donor data stay under your ownership and admin control from day one. We work inside your accounts, never ours.
